Daniel is the Founder and Principal Attorney of The Impact Firm.
Daniel founded The Impact Firm after personally witnessing discriminatory hiring practices in the workplace. That experience cemented his commitment to fight for employees who have been silenced, mistreated, or pushed aside.
As an attorney, Daniel is known for being client-focused and fiercely dedicated. He takes every case personally, ensuring that his clients know they are not facing their battles alone. Whether navigating complex legal challenges or standing up to powerful employers, Daniel approaches each matter with empathy, strategy, and unwavering resolve.
He believes that workplace injustices leave a lasting mark, and his mission is to help clients not only seek justice but also come out stronger and more empowered on the other side. At The Impact Firm, Daniel’s clients know one thing for certain: he’s got their back.
Outside the Office
When he’s not advocating for his clients, Daniel enjoys playing guitar, exploring true crime documentaries, and spending time with his family. He and his wife are currently preparing for the exciting adventure of welcoming their first child.

Sonia Castañeda
Sonia Castañeda, a Honduran attorney admitted to practice since 2008, holds an LL.M. and MBA from IE Law School in Madrid, Spain, with a focus on corporate strategy, compliance, and international law. Her unique blend of legal and business expertise allows her to tackle workplace issues with a comprehensive perspective, integrating legal analysis with organizational insight.
With extensive experience advising law firms and organizations across multiple jurisdictions, Sonia has developed a deep understanding of corporate operations, policy implementation, and compliance management. This expertise informs her work in supporting the firm’s mission to hold employers accountable and protect workers’ rights, ensuring impactful advocacy for employees.
Currently a Paralegal and California Bar applicant, Sonia is a vital team member. Her bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, international training, and knowledge of corporate structures enhance the firm’s ability to represent employees with thorough preparation and strategic insight. Her dedication and analytical skills strengthen the team’s commitment to workplace justice.
Outside the Office
Sonia is passionate about personal growth, cultural exchange, and community service. In Honduras, she volunteers to help startups establish and regularize their operations, fostering local entrepreneurship. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, and engaging with music and art, often playing the guitar to balance her professional life with creative expression.
